How the heyImade ranking works

The ranking shows the place, the movement and real numbers. The rules are public and the same for everyone. Nobody can buy a place.

Who can vote

• Only signed-in people (a Google account with a confirmed email). There is no anonymous voting.
• The account must be at least 24 hours old.
• One account = one vote per project. You cannot vote for your own project.
• The project page shows who voted ("Voted by").

What does not count

• Votes held for review: many accounts from the same network on the same project, or a sudden wave of votes from very new accounts. We check them by hand; only then they count or get rejected.
• Votes from blocked accounts.
• Unverified, hidden and adults-only projects (they have their own list).

Order

1. Valid votes in the chosen period (today = last 24 hours, week = 7 days, month = 30 days, all time).
2. On a tie: verified visitors in that period — unique people per day on the project's own website, counted by the heyImade badge placed on its own domain (no cookies, no stored IP addresses). Makers may also send numbers from their own counter; then the source is labelled.
3. On a further tie: earlier verification.

The main ranking place (up/down, NEW, RE-ENTRY, peak, weeks in the ranking) is calculated for the weekly period every 10 minutes. RE-ENTRY = the project was in the Top 100 before, dropped out and came back.

Money

Paid placements (if they ever exist) will be clearly marked and shown separately. They never change the ranking order.

Cheating

Buying votes and account farms are against the terms. We remove such votes and block the accounts. Use the "Report" button on a project if you suspect anything.
